Wonderful opportunity to settle in for the Winter months, bring your Horse if you have one. Possible long term position.
Our Homestead is nestled within a picturesque and private setting surrounded by a diverse landscape of pastures, forests and mountain side views. Abundant wildlife adds to the beauty. This is not a fast paced working ranch operation – no cattle or heavy machinery. Horseback riding is for pleasure and upkeep. A Man or a Woman with Horse experience is preferred though not required.
Assistance needed with:
Clearing debris from walking / riding trails – feeding burn piles – harvesting firewood.
House / Land / Fencing projects.
Animal supervision and care. Horses / Dogs.
Beneficial for those interested in healthy forest management, building and overall mindful country living, anyone with an appreciation for Nature and affection for Animals. This would nicely suit a retired handyman / groundsman, an artist or online student as the shorter light days allow much personal down time.
Kind, reliable and conscientious individuals only apply please. Accommodations are for one person and one Horse. Additional salary depending. No cigarette smokers, heavy drinkers or drug users. References and background check required.
