We’re seeking reliable part-time ranch help to join our team in Sedalia, Colorado, three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). If you have a strong work ethic, love horses, and are looking for consistent work, this could be the perfect fit for you!
We’re looking for a dedicated individual to assist with horse care and general ranch duties. This is a guaranteed 10 hours per week position with potential for more, paid on a bi-weekly basis.
Schedule:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Start time: No earlier than 4:00 AM, no later than 7:30 AM to turn horses out. The remaining hours can be flexible after horse duties are completed.
Compensation:
- $200 – $250 per week, depending on experience and performance, paid bi-weekly.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Horse Care:
- Feeding horses (AM & PM if applicable).
- Turning horses out to pasture and bringing them in.
- Cleaning stalls and maintaining horse areas.
- Monitoring horse health and reporting any concerns.
- General Ranch Duties:
- Fencing repairs and maintenance.
- Property clean-up and organization.
- Weed control.
- Assisting with other tasks as needed to maintain the ranch.
Requirements:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Experience with horses preferred, including handling and feeding.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
