Ranch Hand Needed – Living Quarters Included
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking ranch hand to join our family-run horse ranch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with horses, appreciates country living, and is looking for affordable housing while earning additional income.
Compensation

Work Schedule (Subject to change)
The position follows a consistent weekly schedule:
- Friday: Half-day
- Saturday, Sunday, Monday: Full ranch duties
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: Off
Morning Chores (Approximately 3–5 hours)
- Feed and grain approximately 35–40 horses
- Throw hay
- Clean stalls and/or pens as assigned
- Check, clean, and refill waterers
- Observe horses for illness or injury
- Administer supplements and medications to designated horses
Evening Chores (Approximately 40 minutes–1.5 hours)
- Grain designated horses
- Bring horses in for the night
- Final welfare check of horses and facilities
Responsibilities
- Feed, water, and care for 35–40 horses every scheduled workday
- Administer supplements and medications according to instructions
- Maintain clean feeding and watering areas
- Monitor horse health and immediately report concerns
- Communicate daily with the ranch owner and fellow ranch hand to ensure smooth operations
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized ranch environment
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Responsible and dependable
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Experienced with horses, livestock, or farm/ranch work (preferred)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting hay, feed, and performing daily ranch chores
- A strong communicator and team player
- Preferably a non-smoker and non-drinker
