PART TIME: (Mon-Fri, approx. 4 hours/day, 20 hours/week)
We are a small family ranch in Wake Forest, NC (just outside of Raleigh) looking for a mature, hard-working individual that will treat our property and animals as if they were their own. I need help with basic animal care during the week so that I can focus on training time with our three horses and my certification program for equine-facilitate coaching. Seeking an individual who is no drama, easy to get along with and has a love for animals as we do. Position is currently part time with room for growth into a full-time position for the right person.
Duties will include:
- Horse Training and Care: Groundwork, feeding, and grooming.
- Other Animal Care: rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens.
- Pasture Maintenance: scooping paddocks and dragging pastures.
- Miscellaneous farm chores as needed.
- Natural horsemanship experience desired but not required.
