We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to join our small family farm/ranch on a part-time basis (14 – 18 hours/week).
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Cutting and maintaining grass, managing invasive/unwanted plants
- Clearing fence lines, brush and basic pasture maintenance
- Trimming trees and shrubs, seasonal garden bed maintenance
- Property and Equipment Maintenance
- Repairing and maintaining fences as needed
- General property upkeep and assistance with livestock as needed
This is ongoing, steady part-time work on a rural 25-acre property that utilizes regenerative/permaculture land practices. The ideal candidate is dependable, enjoys outdoor work, and has experience operating basic equipment (mower, tractor, skid steer, weed eater, chainsaw, etc.). Must be comfortable working independently and in varying weather conditions.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Previous ranch, farm, or grounds maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
- Basic handyman/mechanical skills a plus
- Positive attitude, attention to detail and problem solving a must
Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience. Flexible scheduling for the right person.
