Ascend Equestrian
Ascend Equestrian is looking for a new team member or two to add to our busy hunter/Jumper show barn!
We have an amazing team of talented trainers, grooms, working students and an office manager and are looking for someone to complement and bring value to our team. The ideal candidate is a team player, self starter, professional, organized, dependable, responsible, and has good communication skills.
In need of a stall cleaner/ morning chore person 2x weekly on Sundays and another day of choice (6:30am-12:30pm).
Duties for AM chores include:
- Administering meds
- Feeding
- Turnout
- Watering
- Stalls
Also in need of additional help in the following areas:
- Horse care
- Grooming
- Tacking
- Turn in
- Feeding
- Hand walks
- Assisting with beginner riders tacking/ untacking
Please note that we are NOT looking for a trainer/ rider.
Working student positions also available for intermediate/ advanced riders in which pay is applied towards invoices for lessons/ boarding/ leasing.
All staff works closely together and collaborate on accomplishing the goals for the day and ensuring top care for our horses and farm. Flexibility is key, as it is a team effort to work towards one shared goal. Ability to pick up additional shifts as needed an added bonus.
Located in Oakland Twp., Michigan. Must be local. No housing provided.
