The Wrangler/Ranch Hand is a part-time, year-round position assisting in all aspects of daily operations. Animal care is the primary responsibility of Wrangler, however, the willingness to participate in any ranch operation is the expectation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Daily care of animals including feeding, watering, cleaning, exercising, training and grooming
- Rotation of grazing animals including temporary fence construction
- Fence Repair
- Assist with landscape, agricultural and irrigation operations and maintenance
- Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of livestock, residential and agricultural facilities
- Operation of ranch equipment including mowers, tractors, excavator and skid steer
- Assist in completion of in-house projects
- Snow Removal
Qualifications:
- Experience in Equine, Cattle and Goat care
- Advanced riding/horse training skills
- Ability to operate machinery
- Ability to life 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions at high altitudes
- Willing to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work legally in the U.S., and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
