Hello!
I am currently 20 years old and currently reside in Michigan, I am in search of a general ranch hand/entry level ranch hand position to work full time/year round, and am looking for something that has the possibility for future opportunities for growth and steps to higher positions and something I can make a full time career out of!
I spent the last 8 months of my life working in the diesel tech field so I am fairly mechanical inclined and am open to doing maintenance repairs on tractors or any other kinds of equipment.
I would describe myself as a very hard working individual, I’m definitely someone with a creative mind and a strong work ethic, I’m a very adaptable person and can do many different types of jobs throughout the year with the right training. I can work in all kinds of weather and have no problem with rough winters or freezing temperatures. I’m one who appreciates nature and sees the beauty in all of Gods creation, so I love being outdoors as much as I can and I love when I am able to work outdoors.
My last couple years of high school I took multiple agricultural classes and was involved in my schools FFA program, I definitely learned a lot of information on different types of animals during that time and how to make sure animals are healthy and in good condition and while at the moment I don’t have the skills to take care of animals if something is wrong, I do know the basic signs of when an animal is getting sick or unhealthy so I will be able to notify whoever if I have any concerns.
My goal out of this is to find myself a general ranch hand position and be able to learn how to work with animals and care for them, do groundskeeper work, fix and build fences, tow and haul (I have a truck that I’m gladly willing to use for work), and after building those skills I am wanting to move further in this career and have the possibility to work towards being a wrangler or any general cowboy position.

Even with all my skills and what I do know, I am by no means gonna be picky with whatever comes my way, I am more than willing to start at the very bottom and work my way up and prove myself, I am just looking for the right opportunity to get my foot in the door and make a career out of ranching.
I am available to move at any time and am ideally looking to start working as soon as possible, my main preferences for states I want to work in are Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, and Washington. I am open to other states but it all depends on what the location of the state is and what the job offers.
