Texas A&M Kingsville agriculture business graduate with a focus on range and wildlife management (Bachelors 2014) looking for agriculture or ranch position. Avid outdoor enthusiast with agriculture, range and wildlife management and construction experience.
Have experience with ranch management including but not limited to:
• Deer capture from helicopter
• Buck quality management
• Feeder and blind management and maintenance
• Cleaning brush and maintaining fence lines
• Cleaning animals
Hunting guide assistant experience not limited to:
• Hunting guide assistant: driver, distributed live quail for stocked hunts.
• Assisted in dog training: shot birds for dogs to practice retrieval
Agriculture experience:
• Hydroponics – designed and built hydroponic systems for both indoors and outdoors locations. Designed and built customizable indoor hydroponic systems contained indoors. Germinated and grown vegetables and fruits indoors utilizing ebb and flow and deep-water culture hydroponic setups.
• Hügelkultur gardening – have utilized hügelkultur in permaculture designs for long term water retention in dry areas.
• Cacti and succulents – specialized in cacti that produce edible fruit or food products (cereus, mammillaria, opuntia). Experience with over 50 species, from germination to fruiting stages. Designed cactus garden and fence for security.
• Rare and exotic fruit and vegetable gardening. Experience ranges from propagation, transplantation, through fruiting cycles. The focus being perennials such as asparagus, artichoke, dragon fruit, fruit trees etc. Grown over 120 varieties of heirloom fruits and vegetables.
• Experience growing and maintaining “air plant” tillandsia species. Production of clones via Pup propagation and separation to form new colonies.
• Vermin Composting. Utilizing fauna to rapidly break down organic waste to quickly create a nutrient rich compost.
• Successional growth planning to lengthen water retention, promote shaded zones reducing surrounding temperatures in the day and retention of heat at night with microclimatic action.
Construction experience including but not limited to:
• Home deconstruction and remodel
• Drywall
• Roofing
• Carpentry
• Large machinery operation including: extending forklift, back hoe, front end loader, bobcat.
• Point of contact for subcontractors and owners.
• Site maintenance and safety
• Punch list compliance and quality assurance.
