I’m a single mature male who is seeking long term, permanent lifestyle changes as a ranch hand for a cattle/horse ranch operation.
I’m in excellent shape and I’m looking for a change of lifestyle that would take me back to my roots. Both of my grandpas were ranchers; horses for one, cattle (dairyman) for the other. I grew up near a riding stable in my youth and I would ride frequently at the stables as I traded mucking up, horse grooming, stable cleaning, feeding chores, etc. for riding times. The main ingredients that I bring to you are my willingness to learn new things, show up every day to accomplish the tasks needing to be done, along with a ‘can do’ and ‘get it done’ attitude.
I have a diligent, strong work ethic and will contribute my humble abilities somewhere where they may be applied.
I’ve worked a hands-on job as a production manager responsible for a crew of 29 employees where mechanical operations would need daily maintenance and repair. I am a problem solver with basic maintenance and facilities management skills and am always willing to learn more. I was responsible for safety, OSHA/MSDS, hiring/firing, training, teamwork motivation, and project management. Organization is key to my success.
Being a Christian, I’ve always felt the need for giving back and have been involved with several church related ministries, which I would like to continue in my new location, as opportunity permits.
