Seeking Family Assistant, Housekeeping, Cooking Opportunity (Housing does not need to be included, depending on what is offered)

I am currently seeking an opportunity to provide family assistance to a Godly couple working on a ranch. This can include running errands, food prep/cooking, house cleaning, admin tasks, and other responsibilities to assist the family and ranch. Depending on what is offered, I may accept available housing, but it is not necessary.

My Background includes:

  • Sergeant in the Army working as a Culinary Specialist for 4 years
  • Managing kitchen, administration responsibilities, and soldiers’ paperwork
  • Professional Cleaning
  • Addiction Counseling

Experience In:

Sergeant duties included (but not limited to):

  • 4 years Managing 8-15 soldiers in a kitchen (on U.S. base and overseas)
  • Cook for approximately 1000 soldiers (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
  • Completing administrative tasks: managing money, completing schedules, organizing paperwork up to inspection standards
  • Leading, training, and using critical thinking and decision-making skills to ensure missions were completed efficiently.
  • 1+ years professional cleaning; basic or deep cleaning of 2 houses a day, ensuring attention to detail is prioritized

Addiction Counseling:

  • Completed assessment interviews
  • Counseled 8-15 federal clients in individual and group settings

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration
  • Currently working on an American Sign Language Degree online
  • CPR & First Aide certified

I will provide assistance to the employees and employers at the ranch that will ensure an environment with less stress and more peace. I work best in environments that are high-speed, busy, and allow room for learning and growing in skills. Although I have experience working as a team and as an individual, I work best when I have a bit of best worlds. I am always willing (and want) to learn new skills, but my biggest weakness is fixing anything! I break things so others can fix them!

I am looking for a position where I can work part-time so I can also prioritize my personal life as well. I love making homemade goods in the kitchen and sewing projects for others, and I hope to continue trying to build a side business doing this. I also hope to work closely with the Deaf community, as they are one of the largest people groups who are unreached by the church. I am currently living in South Dakota and am open-minded to moving (almost) anywhere, preferably warm and with no allergies! I also come with a German Shepherd—brownie points (from me to you) if you give her a job and wear her out for me!

If you are hiring or believe I could benefit your family and business, I would love to hear from you! Please let me know if you have any questions or if you would like me to provide my resume. Thank you for taking the time to read about my skills and experiences!
