32-year old female looking for a role as an Assistant Farm Manager (or something similar) on a small to mid-scale farm or homestead that uses organic, sustainable, and/or regenerative farming practices. My farming experience up to this point is a little sporadic and, some may say, unconventional. Regardless, I believe I have a good foundation to build a farming career off of and would like the opportunity to do so.
I’m located just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, and am ready to relocate beginning in February 2023. Housing would need to be provided and my cat must also be allowed.
Farming has been the love of my life for many years. For one reason or another, I kept finding reasons to stay at my office job despite my disdain for it. I took a huge leap of faith and quit that job and instead have been interning on different farms around the U.S., learning and absorbing everything I possibly can. There is still so much I don’t know, but the only way for me to know what I don’t know is to be a full-time farmer. My previous management experience combined with my farming experience makes me a unique candidate and perfect addition to your operation.
