Hello and thank you for your interest. My name is Clinton. I was born and raised in the hill country of Texas. What I am seeking is a very long term position with a ranch and family. I am a very healthy, fit, hard working and loyal 53 year old man without any baggage. I have a class A CDL, no tickets, no accidents, I can pass a background check, pass a drug test, I do not drink, and I have good credit. I only have one vice and that is ranching. It is not a job for me it is a lifestyle.
I have extensive experience in ranching with hunting ranches, guiding, cow/calf operations, horse ranches including boarding and sales, doctoring animals, recognizing disease, CWD programs, conservation regulations for hunting ranches, hay production/sales, and maintenance operations. I also have an expert level of experience with computers, management programs including cattle max, barn pro, and expert level with excel spreadsheets. I am very good at streamlining any ranch process to find avenues to save money. I can negotiate with vendors for better pricing and set up maintenance schedules with hard copies.
I have my own tools, I can weld, I can do in depth maintenance, and most repairs myself. I do electrical, plumbing, and can operate any heavy equipment. I am a forward thinker, and very proactive when it comes to management. I will always put the security and safety of your ranch first and at the forefront of every decision will be in the best interest of the owners.
I am available for full time long term ranch management/foreman position and I will also consider short term work by project. The position I am seeking will offer housing. My salary history is $48k per year however I am willing to entertain offers depending on the needs and long term goals of the ranch and how I can benefit long term in the success of the operation.
