Single woman in her early 30s seeking employment as a cook/housekeeper on a farm or ranch in Canada.
Experience in cooking and keeping house (including laundry, mending, and budgeting) for a household of 20+. Experience in various cuisines, putting up preserves, baking, sourdoughs, cheese-making, etc. 4 years experience with nannying: childcare and tutoring (including teaching handwork, household management skills, Bible studies/basic apologetics, etc.). Capable of keeping a garden and assisting with animals/livestock.
I am a farm girl from Alberta with over 14 years of farming experience: running two farms, managing staff, marketing, free range poultry/egg production, natural (mainly by hand) vegetable crop production. I have hand milked both cows and goats and have done a bit of riding. I was injured in the work place a few years back and have sustained chemical/scent sensitivities/allergies and have had to take a bit of a step back from the farming aspect, though I am by no means incapable of helping out with chores! I am not afraid of long hours and am willing to learn and be of help wherever I can, aside from house hold tasks. I am looking for a private working farm or ranch where I can help out and put my experience to use. I'm not seeking a large salary, just a place to live and work and enough to get by.
