It has long been my dream to work on a ranch full time as a career, and I am excited to be looking for new opportunities for a Ranch Hand position. Though I lack formal equine experience my background as a hired hand for Chute 2 Productions Bull Riding has given me extensive experience in livestock handling, setting up chutes and panels, and maintaining a strict focus on safety in fast-paced environments. During the off-season, I served as a Ranch Hand on the owner’s private property. My responsibilities there were comprehensive, ranging from feeding of horses and livestock to technical tasks like welding and building ranch structures. I am a hard worker who understands that ranching requires both physical grit and mechanical skill. Although I still have a lot to learn in this industry, I am a very fast learner!
Beyond the manual labor, I am deeply interested in animal behavior. While I know that training a horse is an entirely different challenge than my previous work as a dog trainer, that experience sparked my passion for animal development. I loved the process of building trust and communication with animals, and I am eager to apply that dedication to a future in horse training.
I am ready to bring my work ethic and respect for livestock to your ranch.
