29 year-old motivated and driven worker seeking full-time employment on a ranch. I’ve spent years of my life trying to figure out what I wanted to do, and I’ve finally decided to chase my dreams. It is my dream to work on a horse ranch and work with horses each day. I was a deputy for seven years and recently decided it was no longer for me. I have excellent communication and customer service skills. My time spent in law enforcement has taught me proper documentation and records keeping skills.
I am a quick learner and am eager to learn new things. I am familiar with the different kinds of tack and I am well versed in the Western riding discipline. I have previously worked at a boarding facility in my teens and have been riding since I was eight years old. I used to barrel race and am hoping to be able to get back into that. I have also ridden cutting horses before. I don’t have any experience with the cattle industry, but I’m a blank slate and can be taught your way of doing things.
I’ve dabbled in horse training and have been able to teach a horse a variety of things. I have yet to completely break a horse. It is something I am more than willing to learn how to do.
What I can offer you is an honest, dependable, hard worker that will exceed expectations. I work wonderfully with others but am also more than capable to work on my own. I am open to negotiations and relocating anywhere. Lodging is strongly preferred.
