Experienced husband-and-wife team seeking a long-term position caring for a private family ranch, recreational property, or legacy estate in Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, California or Utah.
We bring a complementary combination of more than 20 years of ranch and property-management experience, hands-on maintenance and mechanical ability, hospitality and household operations, professional organization, and a genuine commitment to thoughtful stewardship of land and property.
Him: More than 20 years of ranch foreman and property-management experience, with extensive hands-on skills in property and infrastructure maintenance, carpentry, welding and fabrication, equipment operation and repair, irrigation, haying, fencing, roads, forestry and snow removal. Experienced planning and executing property improvements, coordinating projects and contractors, supervising crews, and independently solving problems as they arise. He is also experienced with hunting management and comfortable guiding owners or guests in the field, including helping coordinate a safe, professional and enjoyable hunting experience on private property. Sawyer-trained and comfortable with forestry work, he brings practical experience with land stewardship, tree and vegetation management, and work in remote terrain. Prior fish and wildlife law-enforcement experience provides an additional security-minded presence, strong situational awareness, and a deep respect for wildlife and natural-resource management.
Her: Experienced in private-property care, hospitality and household operations, with a background managing housekeeping and guest services at a high-end Colorado guest ranch and currently owning a professional cleaning and property-care business. Strengths include estate-level housekeeping and presentation, organization, inventory and supply management, vendor coordination, seasonal opening/closing and arrival preparation, administrative support and anticipating owner and guest needs. She is also a Registered Nurse, bringing an additional level of emergency preparedness and calm decision-making particularly valuable in remote settings.
Together, we offer a capable, discreet, and highly self-directed team comfortable caring for both the land and residence. Our experience working with high-net-worth owners and private families has given us a strong understanding of the trust, discretion, attention to detail, and thoughtful communication required in a private ranch setting. We know when to take initiative, when to communicate, and how to keep a property operating smoothly and ready for owners and guests without requiring constant direction.
We are especially interested in a private family ranch, recreational/hunting/fishing property, conservation property, or multi-residence ranch estate where long-term stewardship, trust and pride of ownership are valued.
Our goal is not simply to find our next job. We hope to find a property and family we can invest in for years to come.
