I currently help run a large equestrian facility in Northern California, where I manage the day-to-day operations of a not-for-profits busy boarding & event program housing between 120-500 horses. While my title is administrative assistant, my role is hands-on and centered around overseeing and maintaining the full scope of daily operations.

My responsibilities include managing communications, coordinating events, overseeing health and safety protocols, conducting barn checks, managing all boarding and liability paperwork, ordering hay and bedding, and organizing maintenance needs across the facility.

In addition to operations, I manage social media, networking, and donation outreach, and I focus on creating dynamic, engaging experiences that draw guests into the operation and enhance overall atmosphere and retention. My goal is to pivot to a more hands on, family and guest oriented focus.

I bring a strong background in ranch operations, management, hospitality, and guest experience, and take pride in creating an environment where both horses and people are well cared for. Connecting with guests is where I truly shine.

I am a 27-year-old female, physically capable and comfortable handling demanding ranch work independently. I work well within a team but am equally confident managing responsibilities on my own.

I am also an experienced rider with years of trail riding experience and a longtime connection to equestrian life. I’ve ridden through everything from redwood forests, plains, snowstorms, and deserts. The trail is my happy place, my favorite ever-changing puzzle, and where you can find me when I’m not at the barn.

Based in Northern California, I am seeking a ranch or barn manager role at a guest ranch and am open to relocation for the right fit. Housing is preferred.

There is also potential for my partner to join me—he is a hardworking roofer with experience in general carpentry and welding, which can be a valuable asset for ranch maintenance and projects.

I am open to a negotiable salary depending on the opportunity and overall fit.

I’m dependable, organized, and take pride in running a safe, efficient, and welcoming operation while creating experiences that keep guests coming back.

Open to relocation: CA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, TN, NC, SC
