Ranch Manager Seeking Employment
I am seeking employment as a ranch manager or similar position. I have an abundance of diverse work experience extending from the plains of Alabama to the high desert mountains of Wyoming. My work experience combined with my formal education as a graduate of the Texas Christian University Ranch Management program, makes me an ideal candidate for such positions.
Past work experience includes, cow/calf, stocker, performance horse operations, big game outfitting/guiding and more. I’m very experienced with producing hay as well as operating heavy equipment. I have the ability and knowledge to manage all aspects of a ranch operation, ranging from constructing fence to selecting or marketing cattle, etc.. I also recently obtained my private pilot helicopter license. I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and would have no problem developing budgets, keeping records, making reports, or communicating with my employer. I take pride in the functionality and appearance of a ranch and am capable of maintaining or improving a property and its facilities.
Employment on a ranch that has a commercial cattle operation as well as a recreational aspect such as a hunting/outfitting operation where I can utilize my experience and interests would be ideal. I am open to relocating most anywhere for the right opportunity but ideally would like to find a position in any of the western mountain states.
