Chivaughan P.
We are a South African couple who recently moved to the United States with our three young children and are hoping to find a farm or ranch opportunity where we can work hard, contribute meaningfully, and build a life rooted in the land.
Farm life is what we know and love. Both of us were raised in it, and it’s the environment our children have grown up in as well.
My husband has experience in farm and business management, including financial operations, staff oversight, equipment handling, maintenance, general farm upkeep, and holds a TLB operator certificate. He also has experience with hunting operations and land management.
I bring over 20 years of equestrian experience, including horse care and training, and I am also happy to assist with administration, organization, cooking, and household support where needed.
Between the two of us we have developed many practical skills over the years of farm life, though we have only mentioned a few here.
While we are capable of overseeing and managing operations, we are not the kind of people who only give instructions. We believe in working alongside others, getting our hands dirty, and helping wherever we are needed — whether that’s caring for animals, fixing fences, organizing barns, helping with horses/livestock, or supporting the daily rhythm of the ranch.
Our three children were born and raised amongst animals and open spaces, and we hope to continue raising them in that same environment.
We are currently based in San Antonio, TX but are willing to relocate for the right opportunity. More than anything, we hope to find a place where we can work honestly, contribute to the land and community, and eventually call home.
We value hard work, integrity, and raising our children with the same respect for land, animals, and people that we were raised with.
If you know of any ranches or farms looking for a dedicated family, we would truly appreciate a message or a share.
