We have been married for 25 years and have purchased, transformed and sold eight horse properties in Colorado, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Arkansas in that time. We are both care-takers by nature and have a passion for improving wherever we are located. We are animal lovers and have had horses, dogs and cats for 20 years. We are looking for part-time or full-time farm or ranch caretaker positions with housing.

Ron grew up on an Iowa farm and learned how to work hard, produce quality results, and be self-sufficient. He has applied those lessons throughout his life as a farmer in Iowa and Texas, Army military policeman, journeyman machinist, landscape company owner, real estate investor, and farm manager. Ron is now retired but ready to apply a lifetime of knowledge and experience to our caretaker career. Ron is an expert at machinery operation and general maintenance, and excels at transforming rural properties into showplaces.

Amy has a Master’s degree in Business and has spent 30 years in the corporate world as an HR Systems Manager and Project Manager. Amy is organized, hard-working, detail-oriented and collaborative by nature. Amy has been a side-by-side partner with Ron through every activity of the eight acreage purchases and transformations; she can do it all. She is also an animal lover and natural care-giver.

Everywhere that we have lived, even when we rented or stayed with friends, we have taken care of the property with pride of ownership. We have always been considered an asset to the community and people have hated to see us leave. We will do the same for your rural property; it’s who we are.
