Have been caretaker for two retreat ranches, a 700 acre in southern Colorado and a 108 acre ranch, five years running, in Northern NM. I am a Colorado native, grown up in the ranch/mountain lands of Northern NM, southern Colorado most of my life.
My jobs were varied, included but not limited to:
- Income generation projects (energy, leasing partners, apiary/livestock/agri basis, etc)
- Conservation projects (River stabilization and pond reaction for trout habitat, supplemental feed planting for Elk, etc)
- Security implementation, (technological and lead-based), for both natural, and human, entities.
- Heavy equipment utilization as needed(Backhoe, bulldozer, snow plowing, snowmobiles, etc)
- Horse herd tending, awareness of cougar impingement, and herd health in general.
- Cabin construction, both new and reconstruction of 1800s log cabins. Remodeling.
- Crew supervision for larger land/building projects.
- Consulting with owners on ranch health and evolution in regards to fire awareness/suppression, eco-tourism, conserving and increasing ranch resources while maximizing income options.
In keeping with JFKs words, ask not what your country can do for you . . . I have 30 years in the building trades, previously licensed contractor, which has been mainly utilized to build Veterans/kids humanitarian initiatives in the States. Trained/worked as an EMT, also .
Misc. skills, bee keeper, worked in RE/development for short period. Online capability’s include: basics in Ai utilization, advertising. Worked manufacturing a quick building, earthquake/fire resistant construction panel system.
I have one dependent. We have clean background, not drug/alcohol bound . . . we can evolve your properties trajectory, or, just keep your ranch in safe standing.
