Two farm workers from New Zealand (Emily 20/Joel 21)are currently in Corvallis OR looking for some work until the end of June, we are willing to relocate. We both have 3-4 years of experience under our belts with sheep, cattle and tractors. We’d love to work on a farm / Ranch over here to see how different it is from home and learn a few new skills to maybe even take back home with us to use on the farm. We are happy to do anything on the farm/ranch.

We both have cover letters and CVs available but here’s a brief description.

Emily

I am 20 years old. I have grown up on sheep and angus farms my whole life. At 17 I left home to go shepherding away from home so you could say I’m pretty independent. I have also tried my hand at Dairy farming / cow milking for a year until I missed climbing hills and chasing after sheep going back to it on a farm called Sawdon Station until we came over to the US. I also have a passion for horses. I have used horses for mustering at work and in the show ring. I enjoy driving tractors as well, at Sawdon I did all the mowing , raking, feeding and some drilling grass seeds. I am also a tidy fencer. I am currently getting my level 4 in Agriculture, Meat, wool and fibre in New Zealand. I’m a hard worker and will give anything a go. I am reliable, respectful and honest with good communication skills.
I have a CV if you would like to know more.

Joel

I am 21 years old and I too have grown up on a high country merino sheep and cattle farm in New Zealand. I have spent the last four years of my life working and studying in the agriculture industry, spending two years at Lincoln University completing a Diploma in Farm Management. I have worked on multiple sheep and cattle farms while attending university and beforehand, during the previous summer I also completed work on a deer breeding and finishing operation. I have experience with livestock handling and machinery operation, and pride myself on my work. I also have had experience with fencing and mig welding, with a basic working knowledge of machinery. If you would like to know more please get in contact.

We can start in the next few weeks.
