G’day guys.
I’m Barend (Baz), a twenty two year old from NZ looking to get into a ranch role over in the States. I have grown up in rural New Zealand, hunting, fishing and hiking and love being in the outdoors. Work wise I have been involved in the mining industry since high school. I am currently leading a large crew at a mine site in Australia but looking for a change as my passion lies in farming. I have a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to operate most machines, tractors, loaders, tele handlers etc and ability to fix and maintain equipment, especially pumps. I have also worked my way up to leading hand on a dairy farm overseas, which was an amazing job, from that I learnt how to milk, herd, birth and administer antibiotics etc to cows, along with other housekeeping and organisation skills. I’m passionate about my work and take pride in showing a bit of grit.
I’m willing to work anywhere in the States in virtually any role, not too worried about pay. Will send my resume and some references through if asked, would love to have a discussion too.
