Long Version:
Hi! We are a drama-free, childless, physically capable team with one dog and one cat, looking to bring our varied expertise to a long-term position. We are happy to be hired as a couple or one of us as an individual. We are ok with living in remote regions.
Kyle and Khloe have combined experience in ranch and property management, animal husbandry, horse training, food service, housekeeping, hospitality, adventure tourism, event management, and office management.
Both of us are capable and able to help out in all aspects of a ranch caretaker or manager position, as our abilities bleed into each other’s expertise, but our individual niches are as follows:
Khloe has 10+ years of hands-on experience working horses and managing herds and 5+ years of sole-charge ranch caretaking and management experience. Equine experience includes: starting colts and tuning-up behavioral issues on horses, equine first aid, english and western riding, grooming, and daily care. Ranch Management includes: running tractors and heavy equipment, general herd a pasture management, building fences, driving trailers, sourcing and ordering and working with contractors and crews. She is also website savvy and a professional violinist/fiddler.
Kyle has 18+ years of hands-on and management experience in the food/beverage, fine-dining and hospitality worlds. He is motivated and results-driven whether working alone or with a team, in the office, behind a bar, or as an event manager. Kyle is experienced in handling vendors and arranging event logistics but is also handy with livestock, running some heavy equipment and competent with minor carpentry projects. He is also an accomplished country western DJ/MC, line dance instructor, and live band sound engineer.
