I am looking for a physically active job working with both people and horses. I am college educated and enjoyed a successful career as a Art Director but am looking to make a change from working a desk job to doing what I love most; being physically active in the great outdoors and interacting with both people and animals.
I am open to variety of job possibilities and can bring my past training and work experience in design, photography, marketing, and sales to the table but I absolutely want to be out moving around the majority of the time. I live in Agoura Hills, CA and share custody of two amazing little girls, aged 8 and 5.
It is my dream that I might find a ranch, stables or private property I could work and possibly reside on. When I lived in Texas, I owned my own 6 acer equestrian property in Weatherford, TX along with 4 horses, two Friesians and two American Paint Horses. I dashed to the barn as soon as I got off work to live my passion.
It is my dream to get to live my passion throughout the day and assist another family or organization reach their goals. I am very open to living on the property as long as my daughters can stay a few nights a week with me. I love dresses but love being covered in mud and sweat even more.
I have experience in Reining, Working Cowhorse, Cutting, Jumping and Dressage. I cannot claim to be an expert horse trainer nor a top competitive rider. I have a passion for horses, nature, people and art. If you have a position you think I might be a great fit for, please reach out.
