We are specifically seeking a long-term opportunity to manage and care for a ranch, estate, or private property for absentee owners—whether private, corporate, or a second/third home. Our expertise includes overseeing property operations, managing contractors and vendors, and safeguarding property assets and resources for owners who need full confidence while away.
With us, you will have dedicated, responsible professionals fully committed to serving your needs and providing you with true peace of mind. We are healthy, non-smokers, non-drinkers, drug-free, and hold clean driving records. We are physically and mentally fit and thrive in natural settings and around animals.
About Arthur
Arthur began his career over two decades ago as a private high school teacher in New York and New Jersey before pivoting to become an award-winning audio engineer and executive producer for a successful recording company and retreat center in central Virginia. Since meeting Alana in 2011, he has built a rewarding career in property management, working in Virginia, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and most recently, Colorado again. His experience includes both residential and commercial properties.
Arthur is known for his creativity, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and strong work ethic. He is a problem solver with basic maintenance and facilities management skills, always eager to learn more. Arthur’s passion for working with nature is reflected in every property he manages, often adding personal touches such as landscaped paths, water features, and gardens. He is diligent, responsible, courteous, and capable—well-regarded by both employers and colleagues, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Besides his practical skills, Arthur is excellent with animals and has strong situational awareness, making him well-suited for property security.

In his spare time, Arthur enjoys physical fitness, karaoke, photo and video editing, writing poetry and prose, mentoring others in spirituality, and hiking.
About Alana
Alana previously ran a thriving art and antique retail business in Virginia. She also has extensive homesteading experience, having built a homestead herself. Over the past ten years, Alana has excelled as a personal assistant, property manager, and practitioner of spiritual healing arts.
Alana is vivacious, driven, and dedicated to caring for those around her. She is highly organized, intuitive, efficient, and proactive. Her background covers management, bookkeeping, child development, homesteading, care for art and antiques, and wholesome cooking. She continually seeks out, learns and masters new skills.
Notable skills include:
- Luxury property organization, maintenance, supervision, and security
- Staff supervision and coordination of vendors, suppliers, and contractors
- Management of daily expenses, finances, budgets, and record-keeping systems
- Boutique hotel and retreat center management (booking, admissions, billing, bookkeeping, correspondence)
- Personal agenda, correspondence, and communication management
- Local and international travel arrangements
- Energetic clearing and balancing of land, homes, and businesses for positive influence on client health and well-being
- Caring for equine and canine companions
In her free time, Alana enjoys painting, creating textural art, testing new recipes, gardening, singing, and dancing. Alana loves nature, children and animals.
Our experience managing an off-grid retreat center has prepared us to handle unusual situations calmly and effectively. We hope to find an opportunity that brings us closer to our dream of having our own homestead, or living on a property that feels like home, while helping others along the way.
What We Are Looking For:
Our ideal position is long-term (10–20 years) and includes beautiful, on-site housing with utilities and excellent internet, along with a competitive salary and some benefits. We prefer a rural environment with lush nature and clean water on the property (creek, river, lake, or pond), ideally surrounded by forest or other private lands. While we currently have no pets, we would love to have a German Shepherd or two if we are with you long-term.
We have a deep love for nature and animals, and truly enjoy the peace and fulfillment that come from living in beautiful, natural surroundings. Remote locations do not deter us—we are comfortable and happy in secluded settings, provided there is reasonable access to a nearby town or city for essentials and community connection. Our appreciation for rural life and stewardship of the land is matched by our respect for animals and wildlife, making us an ideal fit for properties that seek caretakers who genuinely thrive in and nurture the outdoors. Whenever possible, we prioritize natural and organic methods for land and property care, avoiding chemical pollution and supporting the long-term health and vitality of your environment.
