Hi there, my name is Steve.
I have over 10 years’ experience working on a farm, ranch and private estate in Northern California. Currently, I am seeking a livework arrangement and am willing to relocate out of state. My passion is caring for animals, land and agriculture. Working outdoors and caretaking has always come naturally to me. Through dedication to hard work, acquisition of a broad-based skillset and adaptability, I always look forward to a new project. With an innate insight and resourcefulness to the needs at hand, I am able to assess and prioritize daily tasks and bring to completion. As far as animals, I have cared for goats, sheep, chickens, llama, dogs and cats, tended to their feeding and watering, clean living quarters, and stock hay bales while ensuring they have a healthy living environment to thrive.
On land and property, I have experience clearing brush, fallen trees and debris, pruning plants, cut overhanging limbs on trees. I am familiar with a sit-down mower, weed eater, hedger, pruning tools as well as a variety of tools, to up keep land. I am blessed with a strong constitution and possess good time management, along with a natural ability to see the end result of a project before it starts. I know what steps need to be taken from start to finish and execute them. This skill has helped me achieve success with many different projects as an independent contractor. As far as property maintenance I have made minor deck repairs, painted, used a pressure washer to clean structures, dug trenches, laid piping for irrigation. I have also worked as a laborer taking on different task such as demolition, and have assisted contractors with various duties. My experience also includes customer service, money handling, stocking, ordering supplies and working with a variety of people. Just looking forward to be a most valuable asset caring for the needs of your ranch.
