To whom it may concern:
I am planning to relocate to the Montana/Wyoming/Colorado region, and looking for entry-level work as a ranch hand. This is definitely an industry change for me, coming from over a decade in the restaurant/bar world, but with the way the food service industry is suffering right now, I’ve decided to treat 2021 as the opportunity to make the change into a more rewarding career/lifestyle.
Despite approaching this without any prior agricultural or animal husbandry experience, I am a quick and willing learner and a motivated hard worker. I am a problem-solver, I have good interpersonal skills, contribute well as part of a team, but also work well on my own. I welcome physically and mentally challenging work.
Additionally, I do have a Class A CDL, with some basic mechanical skill (and again, quick and driven to learn new things/figure things out).
