Nice to meet you,

My name is Ricardo V. I was born and raised in the Oklahoma Panhandle and enlisted in the Marine Corps shortly after graduating high school at 17. I will complete my enlistment in May 2027.

Through my military service, I have worked long hours in all weather conditions, operated heavy vehicles, and learned the importance of reliability, accountability, and teamwork. I have also had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe and Asia, which has helped me appreciate the kind of life I would like to build after the military.

My long-term goal is to work in the ranching industry, preferably in a cow-calf operation. While I have little direct ranch experience, I am willing to start where needed, learn from experienced hands, and earn my place through hard work. I am not afraid of early mornings, difficult conditions, or physically demanding work.

My ultimate goal is to become proficient in horsemanship and cattle operations. However, I am willing to support your operation in whatever capacity is needed and learn every aspect of the business that I can.

I still have time remaining on my contract, but I am beginning to make connections and learn more about opportunities in the ranching world. I would appreciate the opportunity to visit with you and see whether we might be a good fit down the road. I would also be grateful for any advice on skills or experience I should develop before leaving the Marine Corps.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Very respectfully,

Ricardo V.
