My name is Grant W. I am 30 years old, and have a degree from Texas A&M University Kingsville in Range and Wildlife Management. I have about 7 years of experience in ranch work, and am searching for a ranch in Texas to work on. My experience has mostly been in hunting ranches, though have worked with horses and cattle briefly.
I am currently a reservist in the USMC.
*note: I am looking to be a ranch hand, not a ranch manager. Much of my experience has been part time, and I’m not ready to really run a place. I’m looking for a job that’s somewhat entry level, and being on a team of people would be ideal, and if someone is willing to spend some time teaching, honing the skills I already have, that’d be great.
Anywhere in Texas will be doable, and if it’s a very good fit, perhaps I’d be willing to change states, but the San Antonio/South Texas areas are my preference.
