Hello! We are a married Christian couple seeking a job opportunity starting at the end of September. As much as we adore living in Ellensburg, we are happy to relocate and ideally want to end up somewhere long-term. Our lifestyle is not conducive to partying, smoking, vaping, drugs, or being loud; we value respect, honesty, tenacity, and kindness.

– Central Washington University graduate: Dean’s List in the College of Education and Professional Studies from 2019-2022; 3.6 GPA.

– Maintain and build various fencing and ranch gates which includes barbed wire, stock fence, panels, hot wire, and wood fencing.
– Daily monitoring of cattle herd in various pastures; including tagging and determining proper care for sick or injured cow-calf pairs.
– Train and supervise new ranch hands on tractor operations and irrigation.
– Implementation of rotational grazing: moving, sorting, and loading cattle groups.
– Setup and monitor irrigation systems.
Interests: Family; church; old trucks; Louis L’Amour books; road trips; football.

– Representative at community events and while engaging with local businesses.
– Experience recruiting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
– Continuous education on equipment repairs and outdoor leadership skills.
Interests: Church; horse training; rock climbing; trail running; lifelong learning.

We are both observant individuals who love to teach ourselves new skills and learn from others. Working in and around agriculture for years, we understand the majority of positions are not glued to the saddle. We are flexible and willing to do a variety of tasks to benefit your ranch/farm. With that being said, we would gladly ride through the night if given the chance!

Other Important Information:

– Would bring one horse for certain, and potentially another horse who is very experienced moving, sorting, and gathering cows.
– We do not currently own dogs, cats, or other pets, but we sure do love them!
– Madison is currently in an Oregon State University Introduction to Pasture and Grazing Management class.
– Willing to negotiate salary and benefits.
– We can send resumes and references upon request.
