Looking to ranch hand at a cattle or horse ranch. Have 2 years experience in construction, 1 of those years as a project superintendent. Can work mini excavators, backhoes, box blades, all-terrain forklifts, and warehouse forklifts. My grandparents had horses when I was younger and I miss the environment. I would love to be able to work on a ranch. I love animals and am an avid hunter and fisherman. Living in Florida my entire life I’m ready for something different, seeing the mountains and rivers of Kentucky and Tennessee made me fall in love with the landscape, but anywhere with some mountains and rivers is a huge plus.
I have one animal, a pure breed American Pit Bull Terrier. He is house trained and great with other animals.
I’m good with technology and on a ranch geared towards guests and lodging I have a large social media following that could lead to visits.
I have not worked on a ranch before but 100% willing to learn and to grow with the animals. I form bonds with the animals I am around and treat them like family. I know how to ride horses but will need a refresher on tack and such.
I’m BLS certified along with other certifications for any incidents that have the possibility of occurring.
Will need housing as I am younger and will not be able to purchase a house right off the bat of moving.
