Looking for a ranch hand position or couples position on a ranch. I have many years of experience operating a large variety of heavy equipment, 7 months of recent experience on a large commercial cattle outfit in Arizona. I can ride horses, run tractors, fix fence, any kind of property maintenance and vehicle maintenance plus some mechanical skills. I have several years of Supervisory experience from my 7 years in the Marine Corps and my 2 years working as a Supervisor in Alaska. I’m not afraid of hard work and long hours and strive to do my best at anything efficiently. I prefer things kept neat and tidy, personal and workplace. There isn’t much I haven’t done, but I am always up for learning.
My wife of 15 years is also open to work. Her background is pretty diverse also. She grew up around livestock, can ride, plenty of experience caring for livestock. Her background more recently has been with accounting and bookkeeping. She has managed the front end of a farm store, and most recently was in charge of all the financials for a City. She is very diverse, eager to get in there and get the job done and is meticulous about her work. Also big on learning new things, can never know too much!
We do have a family, 4 kids; one boy who is 14 and three girls who are 12, 9, and 6. Very active outdoorsy kids who love to help out and be part of everything if permitted. We also have 2 indoor cats and 2 dogs that would be accompanying us.
