Versatile ranch operations professional seeking a long‑term Ranch Manager or Property Caretaker position. I bring a balanced mix of hands-on skill, practical judgment, and guest‑focused service, with experience managing land, facilities, people, and day‑to‑day operations in a way that keeps a ranch running smoothly and safely.
Summary
- Property & Land Stewardship: Skilled in maintaining homes, outbuildings, equipment, and grounds while supporting the broader needs of an agricultural property. Comfortable performing seasonal land projects, coordinating with grazing partners, operating various equipment and upkeeping landscaping.
- Operational Oversight: Experienced in managing budgets, tracking expenses, coordinating contractors, and keeping operations efficient and cost‑aware. Strong attention to safety, security, and readiness for weather, fire, and other environmental challenges.
- Community & Owner Relations: Professional and personable when working with owners, neighbors, federal/state/local agencies, and service providers. Able to represent the ranch well, maintain positive relationships, and support a respectful, cooperative environment.
- Outdoor Recreation & Hospitality: Confident supporting activities such as hunting programs/guiding, fly fishing, horseback riding, snowmobile/ATV rides, wildlife viewing, and family or guest outings. Focused on safety, preparedness, and creating memorable experiences.
