My wife and I are looking for the right ranch to make our long-time home. Between the 2 of us we offer a wide variety of skill sets. I am a very experienced Equipment Operator, experienced with maintaining said equipment, meticulous about the care and operation of all equipment. I also have cattle experience; I have done branding, sorting, gathering, doctoring, AI, preg checking, shipping etc. I am experienced with handling bulls and with low stress handling. Along with that I have spent time irrigating fields, wheel lines and flood irrigation and have also done haying. I have construction experience, I’ve operation semi trucks, water trucks etc on ranches, but I do not have a CDL. Hunting and fishing is a strong passion of mine. Ive hunted a wide variety of large game and waterfowl, both with rifle/shotguns and archery. I have guided minimally and would be very interested in pursuing that passion.
My wife has cattle and horse experience, she is a proficient rider, experienced in the care and upkeep of said animals. She also has an accounting background and years in customer service. She is the type that enjoys getting out there and helping in any way she can regardless of weather. She also is an avid hunter.
We are ultimately looking for a place to plant roots. We both do not drink, smoke or do drugs. We are home bodies, have 4 very loved and well behaved children (that enjoy getting their hands dirty and helping too). We do have pets that would need to accompany us, no horses or large animals. It is very important to us that we find a drama free (as much as you can get at least) workplace that believes in hard work and a good work ethic. Finding the right fit is very important for everyone involved. We are open to a couples position or one that would employ just one of us.
