Hey y'all, my name is Shannon and I'm looking for a ranch hand/pen rider/wrangler job. Honestly anything ranch related. I am currently a wrangler working for an outfit in SD and the season ends in September.
I grew up riding horses in Kentucky and have a background in beef cattle as well. I have a bachelors degree in Animal Science so I am experienced in the feeding, handling, breeding, doctoring, and general care of various livestock species (mainly cattle and horses). I can drive a tractor, pull a trailer, fix fence, work chutes, and just about anything else a farm needs.
I know I'm one of many looking for cowboy work currently. I may not have the most experience or be the best hand but I am more than willing to learn and work hard. I'm passionate about what I want and I know it's in this field.
I'm open to anything and anywhere. I'm more than willing to relocate. Even if it's a temporary position for the fall and winter, I'm game. I will require housing but I've got my truck and my saddle. I've got plenty of references too.
Thanks and God Bless!
