Howdy! I am a retail worker of 6 years experience that’s trying to get into ranch/farm work. I am seeking a ranch job that will teach me how to be a cowboy and do the job properly.
I would perfer to do equine work. However, I will do Cattle, Swine, Goats, and Chickens if you need a worker in that field.
I would like to have housing on site. But, it isn’t necessary and will be able to relocate given enough time to do so.
Experience:
- Able to communicate properly with management and visitors ( if there are any. Or if you need me to be a tour)
- Has worked with many different systems that deal with inventory
- Resolving issues with problems that may happen.
- Has done cleaning to my facility with high regards to detail.
Basic knowledge about me:
As I said earlier I have been in the retail workforce for over 6 years. I absolutely love the work involved in it. But, it’s not something I really want to do long term. I’ve always had a heart when it came to agriculture. I like playing games about colonies, farms, and outside work such as ONI (oxygen not included), stardew valley, and Rune Factory. I like being outside as much as possible even going out in hurricane level rain and wind. Yes I do mean that. I was walking around grabbing carts when Ian hit Florida. I do remember having my socks completely soaked. So when it comes to weather do not worry about that for me it’s a non-issue.
