Hello, my name is Jack L.
I am 21 years old and will be graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Environmental Conservation and a minor in forestry this coming May.
I have always been fascinated with the idea of being able to work as a hunting guide or with an outfitter, and experiencing all that the Western U.S. has to offer. I am also open to a variety of outdoor work such as ranching, forestry, wildlife management, and outdoor recreation services. I am looking to relocate outside of the Northeast, with preference to Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.
I have extensive experience in customer service and social work through my experiences as a server and cook in the restaurant industry, as well as three years of experience with a local hiking and outdoor recreation guiding company. In high school I attended a trade school where I earned certifications in heavy machinery operations and logging. I am not a stranger to hard work, and have been involved in a variety of jobs such a landscaping, property maintenance, and tree felling. I have been an avid outdoorsman my entire life, and have 7 years of experience hunting deer, turkey, waterfowl, and small game in New York’s Adirondack State Park.
