Mackenzie H.
(January, February, March)
Hello,
My name is Mackenzie H., and I am seeking a calving or seasonal ranch position starting in early January. I will be graduating from the University of Georgia in December with a degree in Agribusiness and am committed to building my career in the cattle industry. Calving season is where I feel I can contribute most, and I’m motivated to support an operation during one of its most demanding times of the year. I take pride in being dependable, self-motivated, and someone who does not shy away from hard work.
I have hands-on experience in calving, processing, tagging, vaccinating, tattooing, freeze branding, fencing, and general ranch maintenance. I’m comfortable around equipment, able to take direction, and quick to learn new tasks. I’m also prepared to assist with night calving and understand the long hours, responsibility, and all-weather conditions that come with the season.
Alongside my cattle background, I have experience in row-crop production. I currently balance school, two jobs, and work at a local cow/calf operation, which has strengthened my work ethic and time management. Because of my schedule, email is the easiest way to reach me initially, and I’m happy to give you a call afterward.
I am available to begin in early January and can commit through March, with the possibility to continue longer if needed. I am willing to relocate (Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, etc.) and will need housing for the duration of the position. While calving is my priority, I am also open to other seasonal positions that run from January through March. I’d be grateful for the opportunity to contribute wherever I’m needed. References and my résumé are available upon request.
