Hello, I’m River T.
I am from Nashville, Tennessee and I’m currently 24 years old. I do not have any experience working on a hunting ranch. I have, on the other hand, worked multiple farms here in Tennessee both full time and part time. Currently full time, I’m working as a project manager for a big roofing company here in Nashville. As well as part time on Tennessee’s most expensive ranch on the market (Twin Rivers Farm).
Ever since I was a kid, I have always been in love with the outdoors. I always was the kid in the classroom to wonder the woods in my mind, it became very apparent what my passions were at a young age. Right now living in the hustle and bustle of the growing Nashville life, I just don’t feel like I’m pursuing a dream of mine.
Following high school I was selected into a program called the Outdoor Scholars Program at The University of Montevallo. I was one of 20 out of 250+ applicants to be accepted into the program to pursue “your” dream job in the outdoor industry. I did that for a year before I was back in Nashville working on a big farm. This last year I bought my own 200 acres which forced me to look for more “suitable” paying jobs in this economy, and that’s how I began roofing. I’m a great team player and I’m very eager to learn new things.
