My name is Trent C. I am a 27-year-old male seeking an entry-level full-time ranch hand position starting around summer of 2025, but am flexible on a start date. I’m open to most states (TX, OK, WY, KS, MT, CO, MO, NE, SD, ND, etc).
I have a little experience with horses, cattle, fencing and running some equipment but would need to be taught most things. I’m a quick learner, dependable and a hard worker. I have a no job is to small mentality. I’m looking for somewhere I can learn the correct basics and then grow those skills. Calving, herd health, business management, etc. I want to learn all of it.
I currently work in asset management for a heavy equipment company where I completed a yearlong leadership development program. I have been with my current company for over 2 years but would like to pursue my passion in the cattle industry. I’ve been working part time for free for a rancher about 45 min from me since the start of 2025 but would like something full time.
I’m a former college athlete and still in good shape, long days/hard work are not an issue for me. I’ve worked a fair share of manual labor as well. I’m drug free and have a valid driver’s license/transportation. I would like housing included, but it isn’t a dealbreaker. I fit in well on any team and don’t bring any drama. I have an “early is on-time, on-time is late” attitude.
My wife would most likely be coming with me, she is also 27 and would probably be working remote for her company. We are both Christians and currently have no kids.
