In Search of Employment – Ranch Management, Campman, or Hunting Guide Position
My name is Ethan McDaniel, and I am actively seeking full-time employment as a ranch manager, camp man, or hunting guide, preferably in New Mexico, though I am open to opportunities in Texas or Colorado as well.
I bring a strong background in all aspects of ranch work, horse training, and guiding. My skill set includes:
- Extensive experience in roping, sorting, branding, and all general ranch operations
- Solid knowledge of livestock health, doctoring, preg checking, and administering medications
- Starting and correcting horses, welding, fencing, facility maintenance, and skid steer operation
- Guiding hunters in remote wilderness areas, including packing mules, field dressing, and camp setup
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and lead with a strong work ethic
I’ve held camp manager and horse trainer positions where I was responsible for herd health, forage management, water systems, and working young horses. I’ve also worked as a full-time hunting guide, where wilderness skills and emergency preparedness were crucial.
I am looking for a position that includes housing for a family of five. I take pride in bringing professionalism, reliability, and hands-on experience to every job I take on.
