Hey there, my name is Loron and I’m looking for a long term job as a ranch manager.
I was born and raised in South Georgia on the family farm. I grew up operating large and small tractors, row crops and hay operation. Also worked a large cattle operation. Later I went into law enforcement, and took early retirement. My wife and I moved to Texas, where we are working a 13k acre ranch. I’m currently a firearms instructor, teaching long range shooting, pistol and rifle shooting. My wife handles all of the bookings and schedules for the ranch.
Depending on the location of employment, housing may need to be included. We have no kids, but we do have dogs.
My skills would include:
- Advanced training in all firearms (Advanced Rifle shooting to a mile)
- Experience in horses
- Experience in computer skills and programs
- Experience in budgets and spreadsheets
- Security Management and Information
- Fence repair and basic plumbing
- No drug use
- Great communication skills
- Great with Maintaining hunting grounds and living quarters
- Managing feeders, deer nutrition, and genitcs
- Experience in hospitality
- Experience in heavy equipment all sorts, including tractors and farming.
