Hi everyone,
My name is Nate S. I moved to Western Colorado, arriving exactly 2 years ago, June 1st. I have enjoyed my time here, but after moving to 3 separate towns nearby, I feel that I am way too isolated with as much as a 4-6 hour drive to reach a major city. To reach a village or town is 1-2 hours on average. Anyway, I’m looking to move.
I used this site as a way to get to Colorado 2 years ago. Since then, I’ve learned a bit about building up fencing on rocky shale ground from my first Colorado employer. I also learned a bit of horse riding and basic horse care. I moved around hay irrigation pipes and moved around hay bales by hand. I have a lot of experience driving on and off road in the mountain country here, all in my battlewagon of a Toyota pickup. I also picked up a bit of hunt guiding classes from my first employer here, of whom awarded me a state sanctioned certificate.
Anyway, I’m looking to relocate to the South. I’m interested in any state seen as Southern with the exception of Maryland. I don’t have much preference to a particular state, but I’d prefer to be in a spot with mild winters, good food, and good community. Also could use help finding housing if you know someone, or have some available. If you think I’d be good for your job, feel free to text or email me.
