Hard-working and reliable South African farm worker looking for a U.S. seasonal ranch position. I have practical experience with horses, livestock, farm work, equipment and general property maintenance. I enjoy hands-on work and am willing to help wherever I am needed around the ranch.
My experience includes:
- General farm maintenance
- Fencing, grounds work and property upkeep
- Livestock and cattle care and handling
- Basic tractor and farm equipment operation
- Workshop tools, equipment maintenance and basic repairs
- Welding and hands-on farm work
- Horse feeding, watering and grooming
- Horse handling, riding and daily horse care
- Stall cleaning and stable maintenance
- Routine observation of horse health and condition
- Small stud-farm experience
- Practical farrier experience and assisting with horseshoeing
- Hoof inspection, trimming, balancing and farrier tools
I am currently completing a practical farrier apprenticeship under a Master Farrier, giving me additional hands-on experience with horses and hoof care.
I am physically fit, dependable and comfortable with long hours, early mornings, weekends and outdoor work in changing weather. I am not afraid of hard work, I learn quickly and I take pride in doing a job properly. I am looking for a ranch where I can contribute to the whole operation, whether that means working with livestock, fixing fences, maintaining the property, operating equipment or taking care of horses.
I am a South African citizen and would require H-2A or H-2B visa sponsorship to legally work in the United States. I am prepared to complete the required visa process and documentation.
