I offer the dependable on-site presence and attentive oversight that can give an owner confidence while away.
For the past five years, I have cared for a private Colorado horse property through two successive owners. I have overseen the residence, equestrian barn, grounds, and property systems.
My strengths are:
- Early recognition of maintenance concerns
- Coordination of contractors and service providers
- Property readiness for an owner’s arrival or scheduled visit
- Clear communication with owners and attentiveness to owners’ wishes
- Keen eye for detail
- Consistent follow through
- Sound judgment and discernment in recognizing problems, assessing vendor work, and understanding owners’ priorities
I grew up on a Midwestern farm, am comfortable in a ranch setting, and have experience riding and handling horses. My strengths are best suited to a role focused on property stewardship, oversight, and coordination, rather than primarily on full-time ranch or farm labor.
I am looking for an arrangement with a flexible schedule and the ability to plan occasional time away in advance.
An owner who needs a capable, observant person living on the property—especially when they cannot be there regularly—would be an excellent fit.
