I am a hardworking, independent 19-year-old based in Jacksonville, Texas, seeking new opportunities in the ranching and horse industry. I’m currently employed at a dressage-based colt starting ranch, but I’m looking to transition to a ranch that better aligns with my morals, values, and goals.

As a dedicated cowgirl with a strong passion for working with horses I strive to put in the riding, training, and hard work it takes to get the job done. I’m not afraid to sweat, and I take pride in everything I do. I’m not looking for a position just to “love on horses” or “laugh off their disrespect,” because I believe horses are too big and powerful to walk over us. I want to ride, train, and continue developing my skills as a western horse trainer. While I value the experience I already have, I’m always open to learning from the right people who share my morals, values, and work ethic. I don’t want to do the same thing everyday.

  • Open to relocating within Texas or wherever God leads me next.

I’m also currently enrolled in an eight-week program at the Oklahoma Horseshoeing School. I’m considering switching to the two-week course, which focuses on developing skills for personal and part-time clients, however, I’m very interested in gaining hands-on experience through an apprenticeship instead. I’d love the opportunity to learn farrier work directly on a wide variety of horses rather than spending most of my time in a classroom. My course (8 weeks or 2), starts January 17th, 2026. I would like to have a new ranch of employment set up before hand, to start at after school (unless I can find a local farrier apprenticeship, but still around the same time then.)
