Hello, our names are Logan and Logan! We are a young couple who have been together for almost 5 years and have the dream of getting into ranching and homesteading since we met. We are finally at the point where we want to make it happen. We currently own a 5th wheel camper (33ft long) and are willing to relocate anywhere with our two friendly dogs.

Logan R. (Male, aka Russell)

Russell is 25 years old and grew up for a few years on a ranch and is familiar with hard work. Coming from a military family who eventually settled in Pennsylvania, he took a gap year before starting college to join the Army Reserves. There he learned how to operate 7 different types of heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, skid steers, and backhoes. He later received a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, specializing in soils and land use. He currently works at an environmental consultant firm where he works on soil and groundwater remediation. Throughout all of this, he could never get rid of the urge to go back to the farm he grew up on and learn how to be more self efficient. He would consider himself honest, quick learner, eager, and hard working.

Logan F. (Female)

Logan is 23 years old and grew up in Maryland. Though she did not grow up on a farm, she was eager to learn and spent any free time she could around horses. She earned a position as a stable hand in high school and spent time working off lessons. Her experience ranges from handling, feeding, mucking, checking and cleaning water troughs, checking for injuries on horses, and more. Later, she got her bachelor’s in Conservation and Wildlife Management and worked stewarding preserves. Here, she learned tool and equipment maintenance, identifying plants and wildlife, and understanding what to look for in land management. Now she works at a Conservation District. As a Conservation Specialist, she has managed on the ground projects, led education and outreach, and assisted in administration throughout the office. She considers herself quick to learn, determined, intuitive, caring, and detail-oriented.
