We are a young ranch family searching for a long-term opportunity to contribute to and grow with a ranch we can truly call home. Together, we bring experience across cattle operations, horse training, business management, and day-to-day ranch stewardship, along with a shared commitment to reliability and caring for livestock and land.

I’m Ryan, 26, and I have extensive hands-on experience in commercial and registered cow-calf operations. I’ve independently calved hundreds of cows, calved heifers, developed cattle, and maintained the health of large groups of pairs on grass. I’m confident doctoring horseback in rough terrain, riding pens, shipping and receiving cattle, and operating heavy equipment. My background also includes fencing, irrigating, repairing facilities, starting colts, and training cow dogs. I am always looking to better my horsemanship, am able to problem-solve, and do the job thoroughly alone without needing supervision or with a crew.

Meghan, 28, brings years of experience starting young horses and handling the daily operational details that keep a colt program running smoothly. Now a mom to our 9-month-old, she focuses on raising him, working towards her master’s degree, and running her business from home. She recently started a successful small business, War Knot Wool, from the ground up, managing marketing, finances, customer relationships, and production independently. She has a bachelor’s in marketing from Colorado State University and is working towards her MBA in Product Management. She’s plenty busy as is but is always happy to help when and where she is needed as long as the little one can tag along too!

Most importantly, we are raising our 9-month-old son and are looking for a ranch where we can put down roots and build a life centered on faith, family, and hard work. We are seeking a long-term position where loyalty goes both ways—a place to invest our skills, grow with the operation, and become a dependable, steady presence for years to come. We currently have four well-trained working border collies and five horses, from dependable 9-year-olds all the way down to a well bred yearling prospect.

Very open to relocation if clean, family friendly housing is included.
